The Okiyo Made in SA wood products are made from Hardwood, which is skilfully hand crafted in KwaZulu-Natal by people who have been employed and upskilled. As these boards are made from natural wood, no two boards are the same, and each has its own character through texture, pattern and colour. Imperfections are part of what makes each one unique. The branding on the boards may also be affected by the inconsistencies inherent in the wood.
These wooden boards have been treated with natural, food friendly oils.This heavy and durable board features a groove for catching the juices from that juicy steak or roast you’ve just cooked. Use it for cutting and presenting the meat, or for serving.
Trees are a natural and renewable resource that absorb CO2 from the atmosphere and store carbon in wood. The wood used to make these products is sourced from sustainably farmed trees.
Care instructions: This product is not suitable for the dishwasher. Rather wipe it with warm, soapy water and dry with a towel. Please don’t leave it to soak in water. To keep the wood from drying out over time, rub it occasionally with linseed or vegetable oil.
ORDER LEAD TIME:
Our order lead time is seasonal and is as follow:
Jan-Sept: 10-15 working days (inclusive of a 3-5 working day lead time for design layouts sent)
Oct-Dec: 15-20 working days (inclusive of a 5-7 working day lead time for design layouts sent)
In the case where we can complete orders quicker, we will. Please do note it is not guaranteed and a deadline date if earlier than above indicated is requested, the team should be contacted prior to making payment.
DESIGN:
Based on the product's branding limitations, all our products are designed according to the client specifications in the theme and the branding option available for the product. Please do take note, we do pride ourselves in not copying other artists artworks and in the case where we aren't able to source original artworks we will re-design your idea. Please also note that supplied artwork is printed as is and it is required to supply HD artworks in the correct formats and sizes.
