Let's have a quick chat about our lead times, please take time to familiarise yourself and understand our procedures.
Please do remember that personalised gifting is an art, and art takes time. We invest time and effort into all our orders as we love creating beautiful and personalised gifts for clients and their families. Please do keep in mind that there is a lot of behind the scenes procedures we have to follow for each and every order we receive.
Firstly, an order is only captured once we have received proof of payment or payment. The client will receive an ORDER CAPTURED e-mail as soon as we have received either payment or proof of payment. Please note, immediate payments without a proof of payment will cause delays in your order being captured. We do urge to NOT make immediate payments.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT RUSH ORDERS! IF YOU AREN'T ABLE TO WAIT THEN WE WOULD URGE YOU TO NOT MAKE PAYMENT AS WE WILL UNFORTUNATELY DISAPPOINT YOU :(
Rushed orders leads to rushed service delivery and this will result in poor product and service delivery from our end. Please do keep in mind and respect the below outlined lead time summary when placing your order. We do urge you to first confirm if we are able to make your deadline (if it is less than our below suggested time frame indication) before making payment to avoid disappointment, not discussing deadline dates with the office will result in us proceeding with the 10-15 working day lead times. REFUNDS will be offered if a deadline cannot be reached as per below summary indication, but please note a R50 admin and banking fee deduction will be made.
DESIGN LEAD TIME INDICATION:
Jan-Sept: 3-5 working days from confirmation of payment
Oct-Dec: 5-7 working days from confirmation of payment
TOTAL ORDER LEAD TIME INDICATION:
Jan-Sept: 10-15 working days from confirmation of payment
Oct-Dec: 15-20 working days from confirmation of payment
The design lead time as suggested above is inclusive of the total order lead time from day of confirmation of payment.
Production cannot start without approval via e-mail. If we have troubles in reaching the client or back and forth changes are made, then the lead time for production will be extended.
IMPORTANT: We require 10-15 (based on season) FULL working days from confirmation of payment for the design and production process. This does not include delivery times needed from day of dispatch.
Please note, if your order is placed after hours, on weekends or public holidays, the 1st working day will be day 1 of the order procedure. A detailed e-mail will be sent once the payment has been captured.
We do allow clients to supply their own artwork in a print-ready format. The lead time will be reduced with the design lead time only, however the production lead time required will remain the same and can still be expected to have the order completed within a 5-7 working day lead time Jan-Sept and a 7-10 working lead time from Oct-Dec. This includes all re-sellers supplying own artwork.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: If you are supplying print ready artwork, you need to ensure the quality is up to standard, we will not question/design on your behalf if not requested and if low quality artwork is supplied, low quality artwork will be produced and delivered. WE PRINT WHAT GET'S SENT. The client is more than welcome to chat to us to ensure the artwork is sent in the correct art-board specs/sizes and formats. NO RESPONSIBILITY will be placed on CLV Design on any incorrect/low quality artwork supplied, nor will we redo the order on our costs.
It is the sad reality that we live in a country poorly managed and loadshedding is part of our day-to-day hurdles. Whenever we have the case where we are on a continuous schedule of power cuts, these hours need to be worked back, so this might result in a 1-2 day delay outside of the above suggested lead time summary. This will be communicated with the client after the orders have been evaluated, only if the client's order is affected, will they be informed accordingly.
Please be advised that we offer delivery via courier. Our preferred courier carrier is The Courier Guy. However please do take note that this is a "add on" service to play at the convenience of the client. Courier services is not a direct service offered by CLV Design and therefore, once the order dispatches our premises it is no longer in our control and no longer our responsibility. The client will receive all needed to know information and contact details to track and trace their own parcels and contact the company directly regarding any complaints, queries or concerns. CLV Design does not deal with any courier related issues nor do we track and trace parcels.
DELIVERY LEAD TIMES: 1-3 Working days in Gauteng and 2-5 working days as a ECO delivery outside of Gauteng or any outlaying areas. Please take this into account as well. We are able to offer a OVN (overnight service) at an additional cost to what is listed on the website.
We are located in Montana Park, Pta. Once your order is ready for collection, you will receive a email with detailed information. Orders may only be collected in working hours and working days - No after hour, weekend or public holiday collections can be arranged . All collections must be arranged and confirmed with our office (Estimate time as well as day/date of collection). Arriving without a confirmed appointment might result in not being assisted effectively.
We trust the above outline gives a better indication and idea as to how our order process works. We have these lead times in place for many reasons and found that these lead times are the best indication of how long your order will take from date of confirmation of payment.
